Coach Bullock has been writing training programs for people for over a decade. It originally started with him helping out a few Highland Games athletes and since then has grown into a very successful online business that is specifically designed to help anyone with their training goals. He currently writes programming for Highland Games athletes, Powerlifters, Strongman/Strongwoman athletes, fighters, endurance athletes, weight loss clients, military personnel, first-responders, and more.
The coaching process starts with preliminary questions and a discussion about your goals. The programming is created for you and takes into account your training experience, equipment availability, goals, and your daily life commitments.
Train Heroic is the software platform used to deliver the custom program directly to your phone so that you can input all of the data from the training sessions. This allows the coach to also receive the information and to track your progress with the software. Another app that is used is a video messaging app called Marco Polo. Marco Polo is used so that the coach can provide in-depth feedback when answering questions, providing programming instructions, or critiquing technique on movements.
The training methodology is primarily a combination of autoregulation, percentage protocols, and fixed loading. Due to the multitude of variables in a custom program every program is unique.
